Important Platform Rules

Krafii is building a trust-first artisan marketplace. That means we enforce on-platform communication and payments, investigate disputes, and may suspend users or artisans who create safety risks, attempt fee avoidance, share prohibited contact details, or try to move protected jobs outside the platform.

Note: These terms apply when you use Krafii as a customer. They are written to reflect how Krafii operates today, including phased rollout, in-app payments, dispute handling, and trust and safety enforcement.

1. Scope, Rollout, and Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Krafii's apps, website, marketplace, payments, chat tools, support channels, and related services. Krafii is currently growing through a phased rollout. That means some features, service areas, user groups, categories, or payment flows may be limited, invite-only, tested gradually, or changed while the platform matures. By using Krafii, you agree to the current version of the service made available to you.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Krafii account unless Krafii expressly launches a different eligibility rule for a specific feature. You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and use only your own account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account unless you promptly report unauthorized use. Krafii may require email verification, OTP checks, profile updates, or additional trust and safety review before allowing access to certain features.

3. Using the Marketplace

Krafii helps customers discover, compare, contact, and pay artisans through the platform. We do not guarantee that any artisan will accept a request, complete a job, or meet your expectations in every instance. You are responsible for describing your request accurately, providing a safe work environment, and reviewing artisan profiles, pricing, timelines, and chat messages before approving work. You should use the in-app tools, booking records, and chat history to keep the transaction clear and traceable.

4. Payments, Held Funds, Completion, and Disputes

For jobs initiated through Krafii, customers must pay through Krafii's approved payment flow. Funds may be held by or through Krafii and its payment partners until the platform records the appropriate release event, such as customer confirmation, successful completion, cancellation handling, or dispute resolution. Customers must not pay artisans off-platform for services initiated on Krafii. Doing so may remove your eligibility for dispute support, platform protections, refunds, or account continuation. If there is a problem with a booking or completed work, you should raise the issue through Krafii before funds are released. Krafii may review chat history, uploaded media, timestamps, payment records, and other relevant evidence when deciding operational outcomes.

5. Conduct Rules and Platform Integrity

You must not use Krafii to harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate, defraud, spam, or deceive any other user. You must not use Krafii to bypass platform safeguards, manipulate ratings, create fake requests, abuse refunds, submit fraudulent disputes, or attempt to move transactions outside Krafii in order to avoid platform rules. For jobs that originate through Krafii, you must keep communication and payment on Krafii. You must not use your profile, job request, messages, reviews, portfolio uploads, or any other feature to share or request phone numbers, personal email addresses, bank details, payment links, QR codes, social handles, external websites, or other contact details intended to move a transaction outside Krafii. Krafii may moderate, remove, restrict, or investigate content or behavior that appears designed to evade platform protections.

6. Content, Reviews, and User Materials

You remain responsible for the information, reviews, ratings, messages, images, videos, voice notes, files, and other materials you submit to Krafii. By submitting content to Krafii, you grant us a non-exclusive right to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and use that content as necessary to operate, secure, moderate, support, and improve the platform. You must only upload content you have the right to use and that does not violate law, privacy, intellectual property rights, or Krafii policies.

7. Suspension, Restrictions, and Account Closure

Krafii may suspend, limit, investigate, or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, attempted fee avoidance, made off-platform payments for in-platform jobs, shared prohibited content, posed a safety risk, committed fraud, abused support or disputes, or otherwise harmed users or the platform. We may also pause or restrict features where required for legal, payment, compliance, trust-and-safety, technical, or operational reasons. Suspension or closure does not automatically cancel rights or obligations that arose before enforcement, including payment, dispute, chargeback, tax, fraud, or evidence-retention matters.

8. Liability, Disclaimers, and Governing Law

Krafii provides a technology platform that helps users find and transact with artisans. Except where law does not allow it, Krafii provides the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific business outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krafii is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses arising from your use of the platform, and our liability will be limited as permitted under applicable law. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Krafii's operating entity and the relevant transaction, with Nigerian law intended to apply by default unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise.
